Busy Busy Month

January has completely flown by. We spent the first part of January in Bakersfield. Joseph got a 2nd Christmas, and he was sufficiently spoiled. We had a good time in Bakersfield playing games, going geocaching, and spending time with family we don't get to see very often. The end of our trip wasn't as pleasant due to Joseph getting really sick. He had never had a fever in his life, and while we were up visiting my grandparents in Modesto Joseph got a fever of 103. His fever got so high that he started have fever induced delusions, which are SCARY stuff. We took him to an Urgent Care and got him on his medications. He was much better after that :) The Urgent Care doctor was the best pediatrician we had ever been to, kind of wished he lived in Chicago.

Once we got home Matt headed into law school, his 4th semester. He is also trying to find a summer job and potentially one for the Fall semester as well. I had my Chicagoland Voices concert last night. I think it went really well and we had a good turnout. Joseph is being as cute as ever. His favorite movie is "Beast". He watches it at least twice a day. He would watch it more, but mommy wants him to do other things with his time... don't you just hate parents sometimes?? ;) Joseph is talking up a storm, and more often than not he is singing. He loves to sing Star Trek (theme from Next Generation), the ABCs (which is hilarious because he doesn't know all the letters yet), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme, and Beauty and the Beast (almost every song). He hasn't had too much time in the snow because its been SOOO cold. The few times he has been out, he doesn't know what to do with it. He mainly just walks around.

Other news is that Matt and I will be moving in June. We are not quite sure where yet, but we know that we are moving. Our apartment complex has been purchased and they are raising the rates so high that we can't afford to live here anymore. We are exploring different areas hoping to find something in our price range that isn't scary. I wish we had money for a down payment... I would LOVE to buy house and have something that is ours. I suppose we should have the income first...
Anyways, that about wraps up the Divelbiss Update!!! Enjoy some pictures!
