Summer here we come!

Its been a busy few weeks.

First off Michael has REALLY grown. He is now 18 months old. He climbs on EVERYTHING. I can't leave him unattended for a minute because he will make his way onto the top of something freakishly high (I swear sometimes I think this kid must be able to fly). He LOVES Elmo and could watch him all day. He fits right into our family with his love of music. Unlike his older brother he doesn't seem to show much interest in singing, but this little guy is a dancer :)

Joseph has graduated from Pre-K and is heading off to Kindergarten!! He is sad to leave his teachers and friends at 4Rs Preschool behind but is really excited to go to Kindergarten.

Matt had a birthday last month- I am now married to a 30 year old! Joseph decided that for Daddy's birthday he would make him a cake. He picked out everything... the cake, the frosting, and the decorations. He wanted it tall like Costco's chocolate cake. We didn't make it 4 layers like Costco does, we just stuck with 2 layers (lol).

Michael approved

So did Joseph

Hmm Cake!
Joseph found Daddy a Star Wars Poster for Daddy's office.
We got a new addition to our house- A PIANO! We get our taxes done really early and got our refund back. We were pretty boring... paying off our credit card. However, Matt was looking over our return (for law school loan payment purposes) and discovered a mistake our accountant made. Filed a correction and look! We got another $1000 back! The government caught 2 more mistakes (Yes we fired our accountant), but what should we do with our extra $1100?? Pay off the rest of the credit card and buy a piano of course!!! I have a happy hubby :) He has wanted a piano for 8 years! Joseph is almost as excited!

The end of June we had some visitors- Grammy and Papa!

Wearing Papa's hat

Playing!!!

Sidewalk Chalk- We had already completely covered the backyard so we moved onto the front!
Doing some chin ups

Riding our bike!!!
