Once Thanksgiving has passed its time to start the Christmas celebrations!!!
First we have to decorate (of course)

| Each year we give our kids an ornament representing their past year or interests. Joseph got the Hulk and Michael got a Panda ornament. |
This year we decided to go up to the National Zoo for their Zoo Lights. The Miners came with us and we had a wonderful time. There was "sledding"... if you can have sledding without snow lol, and a train ride, a carousel, and a light show.

Then of course we had our traditional baking and watching The Polar Express :) I didn't get too many pictures (sadly) but this year we made Peppermint Bark, Dipped Oreos, Dipped Pretzels, and Mint Brownies. We will make cookies for Santa in Illinois- and probably some other yummy goodies!
