Yesterday we spent the day at the Royal Oaks Farm Orchard. For anyone that lives nearby, it is WORTH the drive. There are a lots of fun stuff to do and JJ had a great time.
First we went to pick our own apples. JJ LOVED it! Its a rather nice concept. Let us pay you to pick your apples for you :) We get fresh apples of our choice, they get paid to have hundreds of people pick their apples for them. JJ says his favorite part was "picking the BIG apples at the top of the tree. They were BIG!" Daddy helped reaching the ones at the top. Before we knew it we had a peck of apples.
After apple picking we played on the playground, fed the animals at the petting zoo, picked out a pumpkin, rode the train, and then we had some fresh apple cider (Best apple cider ever!), donuts (So good), and fudge (YUMMY!)
