Updates

Well I thought it was time for an update. Joseph is now trying to crawl... and by crawl I mean he gets up on his hands and knees and launches himself forward :) It is really cute. He is also just starting on rice cereal (we had to wait due to his liver problems). Of course more of it is ending up on his face and bib, not really sure how much is ending up in his stomach. Generally he seems more fascinated with the bowl full of the rice cereal than the fact that mommy is trying to feed him. There isn't much of an update on his liver. We can't see the specialist out here because they are not covered by our insurance. We are switching to Chicago Kent's student insurance in 2 weeks and we will start our visits again then.
Matt is getting ready for law school (first day is the 16th). He ordered his books and is anxiously awaiting his first day. He is excited to start, but hesitant of the unknown that lies ahead. I am trying to absorb all the time we have together because I know that it will disappear in a few weeks.
We are loving Illinois, but we could live with a little less humidity. I'm a little scared to see our AC bill :( However, we love all the green. Matt is really looking forward to a midwestern Fall! He hasn't seen one since his mission.
Well that is about all that is going on in our lives right now. I will try to post more pictures soon. For some reason this blog website is being difficult and not letting me post pictures.

I have an adorable baby, and to much of our delight... a musical baby. Joseph apparently loves Josh Groban. If he is crying or being fussy I can put on Josh Groban and he will stop crying and listen to the music. I haven't been able to catch that on video yet but I did catch him being pretty darn cute listening to You Raise Me Up. Its up to you to decide if Joseph is singing or talking to Josh lol.

Our New Home

We have officially moved into our new home in Buffalo Grove. I even have unpacked the majority of our boxes and the place is starting to look livable :-D We were disappointed about the lack of storage in this apartment but other than that the area is beautiful. The cat has been really impressive and adapted really quick to our new place. Although she has been a little more clingy than usual.
For days Joseph has been so close to rolling over back to front, but my baby boy saved it for my birthday. In fact, I actually missed it the first time. I put him on his back and was talking to Matt. Then I looked down when he started to fuss and he was now on his tummy. It was kind of funny. Then I put him back on his back and he rolled over again. My baby is getting growing up so fast!
I don't know what we are going to do for the holiday weekend. Fireworks might scare Joseph so we probably won't do any of those. However some kind of birthday celebration will occur... sometime. Well I'm heading back to the mess that is my apartment! If anyone needs our new address or home phone number let me know!
